Volleyball Recap: Vanguard Takes a Loss

Vanguard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the North Marion Colts. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Colts when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Vanguard couldn't get the win, but they sure gave North Marion a tough time in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 30-28, 25-20.

Vanguard's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North Marion, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Coincidentally, Vanguard and North Marion will both be playing Lake Weir the next time they take the court. Vanguard will head out to face Lake Weir at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while North Marion will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
