Basketball Recap: Skaneateles Falls Short of Marcellus in the Playoffs

Skaneateles and Marcellus squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Skaneateles had to settle for second. They came up short against the Marcellus Mustangs, falling 73-48. The Lakers have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meetings.

Skaneateles' defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Marcellus, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

Skaneateles wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 74-66 win against Phoenix on the 4th. As for Marcellus, they have also already played their next game, a 65-51 victory against Holland Patent on the 4th.
