Recap: Carson Colts vs. Narbonne Gauchos
After flying high against the Diego Rivera Huskies on Monday, the Carson Colts came back down to earth. Carson fell 59-49 to Narbonne on Wednesday. Carson has not had much luck with Narbonne recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Jacob Ortega and Ezekiel Harry certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Ortega scored 19 points, while Harry scored 18 points. The matchup was Ortega's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Chris Ferrell, who scored 7 points.
Carson has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Narbonne, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carson will face off against West at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. West is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games. As for Narbonne, they will head out on the road to face off against San Pedro at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
