 Northwest Rankin put another one in the bag  on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the DeSoto Central Jaguars 8-1. Considering Northwest Rankin has won 11 matches by more than five  runs this season,  Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
  Jolie Hays made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits (she also didn't allow any  walks). Hays was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Carlee Tubbs was  incredible,  going 3-for-3 with a  home run.  Brooke Smith was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
 On DeSoto Central's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Londen Armstrong, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Northwest Rankin pushed their record up to 16-0 with that  victory, which was their 25th straight  at home dating back to last season. As for DeSoto Central, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 13-4.
