Basketball Recap: Makai Daniels Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Pullman

North Central hadn't done well against Pullman recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The North Central Wolfpack secured a 62-57 W over the Pullman Greyhounds. This was a revenge game for the Wolfpack: when they faced off against the Greyhounds back in January, they had to take a 67-63 loss.

North Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Makai Daniels led the charge by putting up 29 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. The contest was Daniels' third in a row with at least 23 points. Elijah Wright was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 20 points and nine boards.

North Central is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points over those games. As for Pullman, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

North Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 88-62 win against Deer Park on the 8th. As for Pullman, they have also already played their next contest, a 75-66 victory against Rogers on the 11th.
