Recap: KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy vs. Parkway Northwest Hoyas
KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy were the 77-46 winner over the Parkway Northwest Hoyas when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy took a 67-48 bruising from Parkway Northwest on Monday. While losing is never fun, KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 690th, while Parkway Northwest is ranked 297th).
Parkway Northwest's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaicir Isaac led the charge by scoring 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Isaac has scored all season. Devin Caufield was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Parkway Northwest, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.
KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy will take on Parkway West at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Parkway West is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Parkway Northwest, they will head out on the road to square off against Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
