Basketball Recap: Eastern Takes a Loss

Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 55-34 to the North Harrison Cougars. The contest marked the Musketeers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

North Harrison can attribute much of their success to Talon Lewis, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 13 points. Thanks to that strong game, Lewis now owns an excellent 46.5% field goal percentage. Jake Ruoff was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for North Harrison, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-7.

Eastern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 79-31 loss against Paoli on the 17th. As for North Harrison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 88-67 defeat against Floyd Central on the 17th.
