Basketball Recap: Lawrence Comes Up Short

Lawrence was the 53-37 winner over Cony when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 60-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams on Tuesday.

Lawrence's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Cony, they moved to 9-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Lawrence will look to defend their home court on Friday against Messalonskee at 7:30 p.m. As for Cony, they will venture away from home to challenge Erskine Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
