Volleyball Recap: Sacred Heart Takes a Loss

Sacred Heart lost against Cole Camp last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gremlins fell 2-0 to the Blue Birds.

While Sacred Heart was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18.

Addison Figge paced Sacred Heart's offense, picking up seven kills. Figge got some help from Ava Judd and her 14 assists. Finally, Molly Brown kept Sacred Heart's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Sacred Heart's loss dropped their record down to 9-8-1. As for Cole Camp, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-2-3.

Sacred Heart has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lincoln on the 9th. As for Cole Camp, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Northwest on the 11th.
