Baseball Recap: Head-Royce Jayhawks vs. Piedmont Highlanders

Head-Royce blew Piedmont out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Piedmont got their revenge. The Jayhawks fell just short of the Highlanders by a score of 7-5. That's two games in a row now that the Jayhawks have lost by exactly two runs.

Graham Sanger and Kaden Choi stepped up to the plate in a big way. Sanger scored a run while going 3-for-3, while Choi went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. Kento Tsuji also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
