Lake Norman came out on top against East Lincoln on Wednesday thanks in part to Vivian Billard's efforts. Billard tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Billard and Lake Norman will face off against Cox Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Norman is a perfect 9-0 against Cox Mill going back to March of 2020, a lead they'll look to extend.
