Soccer Recap: Loudon Comes Up Short

Loudon fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Alcoa on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tornadoes by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for Loudon in their meetings with Alcoa: they've now lost five in a row.

Loudon now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Alcoa, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season.

Loudon will head out on the road to face off against Claiborne at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alcoa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
