Basketball Game Preview: Olive Wildcats vs. Shidler Tigers

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Olive Wildcats take on the Shidler Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday... Olive will be strutting in after a victory while Shidler will be coming in after a defeat.

Olive took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They managed a 34-29 win over Oilton. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Shidler didn't have quite enough to beat Medford on Friday and fell 54-52. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 279th, while the Cardinals are ranked 114th).

Shidler's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Olive, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10.
