Softball Recap: Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets vs. Leipsic Vikings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Baltimore, Cory-Rawson was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 22-9 margin over the Leipsic Vikings. For the Fighting Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 8-6 victory the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

Hailie Hamilton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and four unearned) runs off nine hits. Hamilton was also big at the plate, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with three stolen bases and five runs.
