Volleyball Game Preview: Cincinnati Christian Cougars vs. Miami Valley Christian Academy Lions + How To Watch

Cincinnati Christian is 2-8 against Miami Valley Christian Academy since September of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Cougars will square off against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Cincinnati Christian came up short against Goshen and fell 3-1. While the Cougars didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 25-21 in the first set.

Cincinnati Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Miami Valley Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since September 2nd on Tuesday. They came up short against Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, falling 3-0.

Miami Valley Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Cincinnati Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Cincinnati Christian took their victory against Miami Valley Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in August of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
