Softball Recap: Arlington Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

Arlington's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Southwind Jaguars a 15-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won six in a row.

Rory Caldwell and Brooklyn Evans did most of the damage at the plate: Caldwell went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Evans scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those three runs gave Evans a new career-high. Jessica Olah was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
