Basketball Recap: Lamoille Falls Short Against Ranked Thetford Academy

On Wednesday, Lamoille faced Thetford Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Lamoille Lancers fell to the Thetford Academy Panthers 65-61. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Lamoille's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Thetford Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3-1.

The future could be bright for both Lamoille and Thetford Academy: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently.
