San Angelo Central is 9-1 against Midland since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The San Angelo Central Bobcats will venture away from home to square off against the Midland Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, San Angelo Central came up short against Midland Legacy and fell 42-31. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 573rd, while the Rebels are ranked 273rd).

Meanwhile, Midland was able to grind out a solid victory over Permian on Tuesday, taking the game 41-32. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

San Angelo Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season. As for Midland, their win bumped their record up to 17-12.

San Angelo Central didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Midland in their previous meeting on January 7th, but they still walked away with a 36-31 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for San Angelo Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
