Grandview faced Fossil Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wolves blew past the SaberCats 3-0. The win was familiar territory for the Wolves, who have now won six contests in a row.

Grandview was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 25-14.

Connor Deickman paced Grandview's offense, picking up 16 kills. Deickman got some help from Devan Hall and his 32 assists. Alejandro Garcia controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Grandview's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Fossil Ridge, they moved to 13-5 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
