Liberty Christian has gone a perfect 10-0 against Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bulldogs will take on the Minutemen at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Liberty Christian has three straight victories, Liberty has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Liberty Christian's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over Rustburg. Considering Liberty Christian have won ten games by more than five goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Liberty's offense. They lost 6-0 to Jefferson Forest on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Liberty can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 217th, while Jefferson Forest are ranked 20th).

Liberty Christian pushed their record up to 10-0-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 51 goals over those six contests. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1.

Everything went Liberty Christian's way against Liberty in their previous meeting back in April, as Liberty Christian made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
