Softball Recap: Spring Creek Comes Up Short

Spring Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-4 to the Princeton Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Gators have lost by exactly six runs.

Spring Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Princeton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Creek will face off against Eastern Wayne at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Princeton, they will square off against Nash Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Nash Central has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.47 runs per game on average), something Princeton will no doubt try to take advantage of.
