Softball Recap: Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nansemond-Suffolk Academy). They never let the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Saints needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Norfolk Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
