Megan Kirby was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Madilyn O'Dear, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Mendon Unity's victory ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1. As for Seymour, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
