Football Recap: Norborne/Hardin-Central's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Norborne/Hardin-Central extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Zach Deitch. Norborne/Hardin-Central breezed past the Santa Fe Chiefs to the tune of 60-16 on Friday with plenty of help from Deitch, who picked up 82 receiving yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 34 yards. He didn't just play on offense: he also made seven total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.

Norborne/Hardin-Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Santa Fe, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Norborne/Hardin-Central will take on rival Orrick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Santa Fe is set to square off against their familiar foe Slater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Chiefs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
