Baseball Recap: Archbishop Riordan Starts off Right with Win over Aragon

Archbishop Riordan had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Aragon Dons 12-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Crusaders have posted since March 8, 2024.

Archbishop Riordan got a massive performance out of Chase Oliver, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs Oliver has posted since back in March of 2024. Nathan Zuromski was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Riordan will welcome University at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Aragon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
