Stoney Creek is a perfect 3-0 against Troy since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Cougars will venture away from home to face off against the Colts at 4:30 p.m. Stoney Creek is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Things were looking good for Stoney Creek after they put the first run on the board on Saturday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Sterling Heights Stevenson by a score of 6-5.

Anthony Voikos made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Evan Wolfe also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Troy didn't have quite enough to beat Notre Dame Prep on Friday and fell 3-2.

Stoney Creek's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Troy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-7.

Everything went Stoney Creek's way against Troy when the teams last played back in May of 2018, as Stoney Creek made off with a 16-1 victory. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Colts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
