Basketball Game Preview: Southampton Indians vs. Brunswick Bulldogs

Southampton hasn't had much luck against Brunswick recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Southampton Indians just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Brunswick Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Southampton will be strutting in after a victory while Brunswick will be coming in after a loss.

Meanwhile, Brunswick has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 27.35 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They fell just short of Greensville County by a score of 68-65. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since December 6, 2024.

Southampton's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12. As for Brunswick, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 11-1 and their overall record down to 13-4.
