Basketball Game Preview: Hillcrest Screamin Eagles vs. Ridgefield Christian Warriors

The Hillcrest Screamin Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Ridgefield Christian Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Hillcrest lost 69-48 to Crowley's Ridge Academy on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Screamin Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 141st, while the Falcons are ranked 38th).

Meanwhile, Ridgefield Christian ended up a good deal behind Earle on Monday and lost 64-49. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hillcrest now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Ridgefield Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Hillcrest came up short against Ridgefield Christian in their previous matchup back in February, falling 49-36. Can Hillcrest avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
