Basketball Recap: Lone Grove Skates Past Marietta with Ease

Lone Grove won the last time they faced Marietta and things went their way on Friday too. The Lone Grove Longhorns blew past the Marietta Indians 61-19. The contest marked the Longhorns' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Lone Grove's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Marietta, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

Lone Grove will be playing at home against Tishomingo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marietta, they will face off against Blackwell at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
