Flag Football Recap: Vista del Lago Comes Up Short

Vista del Lago entered their contest against Woodcreek on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles and the Timberwolves were almost perfectly matched up, but the Eagles suffered a 19-18 defeat. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Timberwolves earlier this season, when they won 25-6.

Although Vista del Lago took the loss, they still got scores from Cadyn Nettleton, Emily Harris, and Kamira Stephens.

Vista del Lago's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Woodcreek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
