Baseball Recap: Beekman Charter Triumphs

Beekman Charter came out on top against North Webster on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since February 14th.

Evan Little made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Cade Diel was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Gauge Yeldell was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Beekman Charter's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for North Webster, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beekman Charter will face off against Mangham at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Webster, they will challenge Minden at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
