Genoa Central is a perfect 10-0 against Prescott since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Dragons will head out on the road to challenge the Curley Wolves at 4:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, Genoa Central came up short against Nashville and fell 8-5.

Macey Williams was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Anna McCrary was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Prescott came into Monday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Centerpoint by a score of 13-10 on Monday.

Genoa Central's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Prescott, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-9.

Everything went Genoa Central's way against Prescott in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Genoa Central made off with a 9-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
