Volleyball Game Preview: Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers vs. Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones + How To Watch

Mt. Pulaski hasn't had much luck against Sacred Heart-Griffin recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Hilltoppers will welcome the Cyclones at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Mt. Pulaski didn't have quite enough to beat Williamsville and fell 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Mt. Pulaski sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-20, 28-30, 25-14.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Sacred Heart-Griffin and Glenwood meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Cyclones fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Cyclones' undefeated start to the season.

Sacred Heart-Griffin started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-12, 25-11.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sacred Heart-Griffin fell to 3-1. As for Mt. Pulaski, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Mt. Pulaski couldn't quite get it done against Sacred Heart-Griffin in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0.
