Recap: Putnam City Pirates vs. Harrah Panthers
The Putnam City Pirates won against the Harrah Panthers on Tuesday with 54 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Putnam City walked away with a 54-42 victory over Harrah. The win made it back-to-back wins for Putnam City.
Harrah lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Sayler Eaton, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds. Eaton continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ashley Hamm, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Putnam City's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1. As for Harrah, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Putnam City will take on Shawnee at TBD on Friday. As for Harrah, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Marshall at 12:00 p.m. on December 8th.
