Ridgeview lost to Gate City back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Ridgeview Wolfpack sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 63-60 victory over the Gate City Blue Devils. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolfpack.

Ridgeview has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Gate City, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgeview will venture away from home to square off against Abingdon at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Abingdon will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Ridgeview surely won't give up without a fight. Gate City has already played their next matchup (against Hampton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
