Baseball Recap: Griffith Comes Up Short

Griffith and Hammond Bishop Noll squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Griffith had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 9-7 loss on May 6th.

Griffith saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Anthony, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Griffith now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Griffith nor Hammond Bishop Noll have any future games scheduled.
