Recap: Coastal Christian Centurions vs. Heide Trask Titans
The Coastal Christian Centurions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 65-49 fall against Heide Trask. Coastal Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Heide Trask apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2016.
Coastal Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Aidan Davies, who scored 22 points, and Holden Martin who scored 19 points. Davies scored a full 44.9% of Coastal Christian's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
It was another big night for Myron Mckoy, who scored 21 points along with eight assists for Heide Trask. The matchup was Mckoy's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Martez Davis was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five assists.
Coastal Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Heide Trask, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
