Basketball Recap: Wood River Takes a Loss

Wood River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Twin Falls Bruins 71-37. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-35 back in January.

Despite the loss, Wood River saw an underclassman step up: freshman Tony Ambriz posted 20 points.

Wood River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Twin Falls, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Wood River has already played their next matchup (against Mountain Home), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Twin Falls has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Pocatello.
