Dove Creek never let their opponents score on Friday. They really took it to the Sargent Farmers for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-0 win. The game marked the Bulldogs' most dominant victory of the season.

Dove Creek had a senior duo take command as Nicholas Aragon gained 137 total yards and Josh Kibel rushed for 132 yards and one score on only eight carries. Kibel also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making two total tackles. Another player making a difference was Kycen Gritz, who gained 58 total yards and two touchdowns.

Dove Creek was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 332 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sargent only rushed for 84.

Dove Creek's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB 14 times. Aragon led the group effort, picking up six of those sacks all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Dove Creek and bumps their season record up to 4-4. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 12 points in those games. As for Sargent, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
