Basketball Recap: Springdale Comes Up Short

Springdale was the 49-47 winner over Bentonville when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Springdale Bulldogs took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bentonville Tigers.

Springdale's loss dropped their record down to 22-4. As for Bentonville, they pushed their record up to 17-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Springdale will venture away from home to take on Har-Ber at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Har-Ber knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Springdale likes a good challenge. As for Bentonville, they are taking a road trip to face off against Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
