Exeter hadn't done well against Salem recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Blue Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 39-36 win over the Blue Devils. The victory was nothing new for the Blue Hawks as they're now sitting on four straight.

Exeter's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
