Softball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington fell victim to Shawnee Mission West and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-0 to the Vikings, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wildcats have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Washington and Shawnee Mission West will both be playing Sumner Academy the next time they take the field. Washington will head out to face Sumner Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Shawnee Mission West will host them at 5:30 p.m. on May 14.
