Lincoln East came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Elkhorn South Storm a 1-0 shutout. Lincoln East's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five contests.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Christoper Parker, which was the first he's scored this season.
