Volleyball Recap: St. Lucy's Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Claremont, St. Lucy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past the Rio Mesa Spartans 2-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Regents as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win got St. Lucy's back to even at 4-4. As for Rio Mesa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

St. Lucy's has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Santa Fe on the 5th. As for Rio Mesa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Sierra Vista on the 6th.
