Trinity is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Middletown is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Shamrocks will welcome the Blue Raiders at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Trinity's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.
Trinity's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Harrisburg with a sharp 19-0 victory. The Shamrocks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Brianna Topper looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024.
At the plate, Zea Sullivan was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Ana Ness, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Trinity kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in eight consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Middletown had just enough and edged out East Pennsboro 7-5 on Thursday. The Blue Raiders haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Kenadee Hileman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on 11 hits and racked up eight Ks.
On the hitting side, Ja'Liyah Stover was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Herneisey, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Middletown's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Trinity, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Trinity hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .420. However, it's not like Middletown struggles in that department as they've averaged .385. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Trinity was able to grind out a solid victory over Middletown when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 10-5. Do the Shamrocks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
