Volleyball Game Preview: Yuma Outlaws vs. Wiggins Tigers

Yuma is 0-10 against Wiggins since November of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Outlaws will look to defend their home court against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Wiggins took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Yuma, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Yuma beat Haxtun 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Outlaws.

Meanwhile, Wiggins didn't have quite enough to beat Merino on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Wiggins wouldn't go down easily and took Merino into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-20, 25-14, 22-25, 15-7.

Yuma's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Wiggins, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-4.
