Basketball Game Preview: Syracuse Titans vs. Pine View Panthers

The Syracuse Titans will take on the Pine View Panthers at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Syracuse has given up an average of 69 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Wednesday, Syracuse ended up a good deal behind Springville and lost 82-67. The Titans were down 67-44 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the defeat, Syracuse got top-tier performance from Carter Robinson, who shot 69% from the field to rack up 20 points and six rebounds. Colton Hoenigman was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Meanwhile, Pine View put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 61-44 victory over Canyon View. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Falcons on their court since February 5, 2021.

Syracuse's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pine View, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
