Fruita Monument skates past Ponderosa with ease

The Fruita Monument Wildcats put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Ponderosa, posting a 69-33 victory at home. Fruita Monument's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Addison Eyre continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Olivia Campbell was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five assists and four steals.

When it comes to explaining why Ponderosa lost, one person who can't be blamed is Maddison Neale. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points along with three steals.

Fruita Monument pushed their record up to 5-0 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Ponderosa, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Fruita Monument will face off against Silver Creek at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Allowing an average of 60 points per game, Silver Creek has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this contest. Ponderosa and Pine Creek will face off at 11:00 a.m. on December 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Pine Creek is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 52.6 points per game.
