Football Recap: Hudson Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Louie Castellarin and Hayden Lipinski

If Hudson was riding high fresh off their 35-0 takedown of Twinsburg last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The game between the Explorers and the Wadsworth Grizzlies didn't end well, with the Explorers falling 35-17. The Explorers haven't had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Hayden Lipinski and Louie Castellarin certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Lipinski threw for 222 yards and a pair of TDs, while Castellarin picked up 102 receiving yards and one score. Castellarin got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 80 yards.

Hudson's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Wadsworth, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Hudson will take on Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wadsworth, they will face off against Nordonia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
