The Martin Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Rio Grande City Rattlers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Martin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
Rio Grande City will be up against a hot Martin squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went Martin's way against Cigarroa on Friday as Martin made off with a 12-0 win. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly 12 runs.

He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. Rio Grande City saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Marroquin, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Rio Grande City's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Martin, their record is now 10-4-2.
Rio Grande City's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Martin hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .391. It's a different story for Rio Grande City, though, as they've only averaged .257. Will they be able to contain Martin's hitters?
Martin skirted past Rio Grande City 8-6 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Martin since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
